There were a lot of unique leotards from a lot of different and not-the-typical teams. We saw some beautiful numbers from Missouri and LSU, as well as some… Interesting ones from the likes of BYU. The judging criteria is the same as always. But for a refresh: up to three points for design; two points for fabric, sparkle, etc.; and two points for school spirit; three points for overall appearance. After assigning points to each category, we’ll tally up the scores and average them with the previous week’s. So by the end of the season, we’ll know for sure which team has the best leotards (according to us) and which teams not so much. We want to know what you thought too (or if we forgot one of your favorites from this weekend)! Let us know in the comments below or on Twitter. And make sure to vote in our poll at the bottom of the page to make your opinion heard in the fan vote, new this season.

With nearly every schedule having been released — it’s about time — it’s time to see which teams will face the toughest lineup of opponents in 2017. The formula used to determine the rankings is quite simple. Looking at last year’s top 20 teams, we took their 2017 opponents rankings from 2016 and added them all together. For an opponent that was competing at home, we deducted two points to account for “home-floor advantage.” In the case of meets with multiple teams, we treated each opponent separately. Finally, we averaged that number and the team with the lowest average would rank first in schedule difficulty.
