By Elizabeth Grimsley Each regional competition is exciting for different reasons. Some have no clear-cut advancing teams, others are more interesting for their individual prospects. The Lincoln regional, however, should be a little bit of both. While LSU should sail through barring absolute disaster, the second spot is wide open with a couple evenly matched teams with a good chance and a couple evenly matched teams with an outside chance—but all with viable individual qualifiers.

The leotards did not disappoint this week as teams have started rolling out their new leos for senior night and postseason competition. Some chose to wear old leotards that brought them success while others, maybe those not squarely in the postseason picture, chose to debut newly designed numbers.
The criteria is the same as always. But to refresh your memory: up to three points for design; two points for fabric, sparkle, etc.; and two points for school spirit; three points for overall appearance. After assigning points to each category, we’ll tally up the scores and average them with the previous week’s. So by the end of the season, we’ll know for sure which team has the best leotards (according to us) and which teams not so much. We want to know what you thought too (or if we forgot one of your favorites from this weekend)! Let us know in the comments below or on Twitter. And make sure to vote in our poll at the bottom of the page to make your opinion heard in the fan vote, new this season. By Elizabeth Grimsley and Christina Marmet It’s time for another round of NCAA Gym News Power Rankings. This week we’ll be coming up with our top 14 teams and assigning them each a secondary Harry Potter character we think best fits its season up to this point. But we don’t expect you to agree with our opinions 100 percent. Let us know your thoughts and who you have in your top 10 in the comments or on social media.
