West Virginia Mountaineers
The West Virginia Mountaineers are one of the four Big 12 teams and regularly appear as a team at the NCAA Regional Championships, with the latest appearance coming in 2016. The Mountaineers have qualified to the NCAA National Championships four times, with their last appearance in 2000. Before joining the Big 12 conference in 2013, the team was part of the EAGL conference, where it won the title seven times. In 2016, the Mountaineers finished third at the Big 12 Championships. Some of the most successful former gymnasts include TeShawne Jackson, Nikki West, Kristin Quackenbush and Janae Cox.
