Ohio State Buckeyes
The Buckeyes appear regularly at the NCAA Regional Championship and frequently manage to qualify individuals to nationals. They won five Big Ten titles in a row (1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987) and appeared at the NCAA National Championships as a team seven times, the last being in 2012. In 2016, the team tied for fifth at the Big Ten Championship and also finished fifth at regionals. The Buckeyes will look to climb up the rankings and build on this past season with the arrival of a strong class headlined by Canadian elite Victoria-Kayen Woo, as well as Alabama transfer Amanda Huang. Successful former gymnasts include Tracy Rinker, Lindsey Vagedes, Julie Somers and Sarah Miller.
