Arizona State Sun Devils

The Arizona State gymnastics team is coming off a few rocky seasons, failing to qualify as a team to the NCAA Regional Championships the last two years, and dealing with many athletes sidelined by injuries or transferring. The Sun Devils have managed to qualify as a team to the NCAA National Championships a few times, the last being in 2006. In 2016, Taylor Allex was the sole gymnast to represent the team at NCAAs as an individual qualifier on vault. The Sun Devils now welcome Jay and Jessica Santos, arriving from Eastern Michigan, as new head coaches for the 2017 season and look to climb back up the rankings. Some famous alumni of the program include three-time national champion Jackie Brummer, and two-time national champions Kim Neal and Lisa Zeis.
