Rogers is one of the very few to have managed an elite career with a full NCAA season. During the 2016 season, Rogers was able to complete international assignments for Canada, such as the Pacific Rim Championships, while successfully helping her team qualify to regionals, nationals and the Super Six. Only one week after the Pacific Rim competition, Rogers became co-NCAA national champion on the uneven bars.
In Gatineau, she posted the best combined two-day score at the trials with a 113.551, as well as the best bars score with 14.8 on both days. Additionally, she finished second on vault and beam. While she is not likely to be used there in Rio, Rogers also showed readiness on floor. The artistic gymnastics competition at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games will take place from August 6-11 and 14-16.
