The leotard rankings are back again this season! We’re here to discuss the beautiful, the ugly and the confusing of collegiate gymnastics fashion over the next four months. But this year we have all new judges to help spice things up. Editors Caroline and Christina will join Elizabeth in analyzing leotards.
The criteria is the same as last season. But to refresh your memories: up to three points for design; two points for fabric, sparkle, etc.; and two points for school spirit; three points for overall appearance. After assigning points to each category, we’ll tally up the scores and average them with the previous week’s. So by the end of the season, we’ll know for sure which team has the best leotards (according to us) and which teams not so much. We want to know what you thought too (or if we forgot one of your favorites from this weekend)! Let us know in the comments below or on Twitter. And make sure to vote in our poll at the bottom of the page to make your opinion heard in the fan vote, new this season.

Today, we’ll take a look at the North Carolina State Wolfpack and how they might fare in the coming season. The team loses some major players in seniors Aubrey Hine, Courtney Turner, Brittni Watkins and Michaela Woodford. However, they’ll gain some key freshmen, including a former American elite and multiple J.O. national qualifiers. Maintaining its forward momentum and adding to it will be the key to qualifying to Regionals and beyond this year for NCSU.
