By Elizabeth Grimsley Teams with zero to six athletic scholarships wrapped up their seasons this weekend with the USAG Collegiate National Championships in Seattle. Texas Woman's University took its 10th all-time national title after a hard fought final. Individual event champions were also crowned.

While the 12 teams that advanced to the NCAA National Championships next weekend have the week off to prepare and heal up, the USA Gymnastics National Championships will take center stage. Lindenwood comes in as the two-time defending champions but won't have an easy path to its third title in as many tries. Bridgeport holds the No. 1 seed with a season high of 195.050. However, the Lions have an identical RQS but hold a top score of 195.325 despite being the second seeded school. Texas Woman's comes in close behind as the No. 3 seed with a season high of 196.000 and a RQS just 0.070 behind that of Bridgeport and Lindenwood's. Cornell, Air Force, Yale, Brown, West Chester and Seattle Pacific round out the fourth through ninth seeded teams while Centenary, Penn and Southern Connecticut State will all be represented with individual competitors.
By Elizabeth Grimsley Each regional competition is exciting for different reasons. Some have no clear-cut advancing teams, others are more interesting for their individual prospects. The Lincoln regional, however, should be a little bit of both. While LSU should sail through barring absolute disaster, the second spot is wide open with a couple evenly matched teams with a good chance and a couple evenly matched teams with an outside chance—but all with viable individual qualifiers.

Once again there were lots of great leos this week including some stunners from Minnesota, Oklahoma and Ursinus(!). With new debuts, it was hard to pic our favorites. The criteria is the same as last season. But to refresh your memories: up to three points for design; two points for fabric, sparkle, etc.; and two points for school spirit; three points for overall appearance. After assigning points to each category, we’ll tally up the scores and average them with the previous week’s. So by the end of the season, we’ll know for sure which team has the best leotards (according to us) and which teams not so much. We want to know what you thought too (or if we forgot one of your favorites from this weekend)! Let us know in the comments below or on Twitter. And make sure to vote in our poll at the bottom of the page to make your opinion heard in the fan vote, new this season.

With lots of beautiful, throwback-tastic and not-so-cute leotards this week, we have a lot to judge. So sit back and enjoy everything from Arizona’s lace faux sports bra number to TWU’s amazing tribute to 1992. We’d also like to make a note that Ohio State’s five buckeye leaves on the sleeve of last week’s leotard represented the team’s five Big 10 championship titles! Pretty cool, we’d say.
