Wolverine Nichelle Christopherson is already working toward the 2016 season. The sophomore is training a Bhardwaj transition on the single rail into the pit. And it's nice too! Will we see another of the unique skill this season?
Bruin freshman, already in Westwood, Calif., for summer classes, Madison Preston is training a double layout. It's on the Tumbl Trak for now, but will it make its way to the floor in time for the 2016 season?
Welcome to the site! The idea for NCAA Gym News came during the off-season. Starved for news, we thought it would be great to have a single place where we could go for teams' training updates, schedule releases, meet coverage — everything. So we decided to start the site and provide for NCAA gym fans everywhere a place to do just that.
During pre-season we'll curate training updates, feature stories, schedule releases and anything else teams put out. Then during the season we'll have standings, schedules, previews of meets, recaps, coverage links, videos, photo albums, feature stories and basically anything else you can think of that team's put out. It's one place for all your NCAA gym needs. We're starting out small, featuring only teams that perennial make the national championships as well as a few other fan favorites. However, if you don't see your favorite team featured, let us know and we'll do our best to add it to the lineup! Other fun features on the site include an NCAA gym guide for college newbies or those that need a quick reminder and general links so you can find more information about the sport. We want to be the best we can be, so any feedback or comments about the site or questions about NCAA gymnastics you have, feel free to let us know on the contact page. Enjoy! |
