By Elizabeth Grimsley Each regional competition is exciting for different reasons. Some have no clear-cut advancing teams, others are more interesting for their individual prospects. The Lincoln regional, however, should be a little bit of both. While LSU should sail through barring absolute disaster, the second spot is wide open with a couple evenly matched teams with a good chance and a couple evenly matched teams with an outside chance—but all with viable individual qualifiers.

By Caroline Medley Buckle up gym fans! We’re in for another big SEC showdown at the Gainesville regional, featuring conference-mates No. 3 Florida, No. 10 Georgia and No. 15 Missouri as the top three seeds. Joining them will be No. 30 New Hampshire, No. 33 Penn State and No. 35 North Carolina, all teams who are capable of solid scores but have had inconsistencies left and right. Many of these teams have already faced each other at least once this season, so almost all of them know what to expect out of their opponents. This big rematch-fest may get really interesting really quickly.

By Caroline Medley It’s a Pac-12 rematch in Champaign next weekend as top seeds UCLA and Oregon State will fight to keep the status quo and qualify to nationals as the presumptive winners. However, the path to qualification will not be easy, as the Bruins and the Beavs have some tough competition. Only 21 places separate the top-ranked team from the bottom one. Iowa and Illinois will be clawing their way to the top, and things will get especially interesting there since the Illini are at home. Ohio State, too, will join its conference-mates in an attempt to qualify while Eastern Michigan has been steadily on the rise throughout the season. UCLA and Oregon State have both seen upsets this season, and all of the remaining teams have had excellent seasons—should make for an exciting night!

By Christina Marmet At first glance, this regional looks like it could be a walk in the park for the top two seeds Utah and Denver. However, Cal and Auburn are silent threats that will jump on the opportunity to advance if the first two falter or have an average meet. All six teams are ranked in the top 28, which makes this regional likely one of the toughest ones out there this season. Additionally, host team Arkansas is the No. 5 seed and it will be more than comfortable competing at home so it could definitely surprise as well. Remember when Arkansas beat Alabama? If the Razorbacks bring their A-game, we are likely in for a tense and exciting evening in Fayetteville.
