There weren’t too many leos this week we didn’t like, which made the competition for the top spot all that more fierce. From lucky leotards that led to upsets to simple but fierce, there were a lot of unique designs on the competition floor.
As always, we’ve got some simple criteria for judging the leos: up to three points for design; two points for fabric, sparkle, etc.; and two points for school spirit; three points for overall appearance. We’ll be looking at leotards we saw that caught our eye — in either a good way or a bad one. Then we’ll tally up the scores and average them with the previous week’s. So by the end of the season, we’ll know for sure which team has the best leotards (according to us) and which teams not to much. We want to know what you thought too (or if we forgot one of your favorites from this weekend)! Let us know in the comments below or on Twitter.

If you thought there were a lot of upsets to start the 2016 season, you didn't see anything compared to this weekend in NCAA gymnastics. No. 4 Alabama went down to No. 8 Auburn when the Tigers broke a 117-meet streak spanning 37 years. No. 5 LSU also lost to No. 11 Georgia. Rutgers picked up its first Big 10 win over Maryland and Iowa continued its success, beating Illinois. Minnesota remained undefeated, picking up a win over Nebraska, and Kentucky earned its first conference win of the season over Missouri. performance as the fourth team in the competition. Posting its highest road score of the year.
RQS starts next week, but for now, we’ve still got averages determining the rankings. Some teams still have pesky low scores holding them back while others have a plethora of gifts from home boosting them up. So we took matters into our own hands. This week Casey breaks down his top 15 teams based on which boy bands from the 1990s they best resemble. Which teams are in the heart of the N’Sync/Backstreet Boys battle and which are the New Kids on the Block? As always, Let us know who you have in your top 15 and what 90s boy bands you think they take after in the comments or on Twitter. And if you’re a traditionalist, you can check out the official rankings on Road to Nationals.
You're either on team BSB or team N’Sync. There is no in between. They both had so many hits, they both were the cream of the crop. It's same for OU and UF. They are both the clear front runners and have been going back and forth all season. Everyone has their favorite, but in reality they are pretty equal.
