It was a weekend of snow and upsets. Before the competitions even got underway, 12 teams cancelled or postponed their meets due to winter storm Jonas plummeting the east coast. North Carolina, West Chester, Towson, Maryland, Penn State, George Washington, Western Michigan, Yale, Penn, Illinois-Chicago, N.C. State and Temple all did not perform — some by their own free will and others not so much (Temple was stuck on the Pennsylvania Turnpike for over 30 hours!).
But the competitions that did occur did not disappoint. No. 14 Missouri upset No. 9 Georgia after the Gymdogs imploded yet again on beam (are we sounding like a broken record yet?), No. 10 Arkansas defeated No. 4 Alabama for the first time ever in Tuscaloosa and second year in a row, and Pitt took the win over No. 15 New Hampshire in a quad turned dual. Read more about those thrilling matchups and everything else you might have missed from this weekend’s events. You can also find full results, links to highlights and photo galleries and event winners.

Florida’s coming off a strong home opener where it scored a 197.675 to launch it into first in the rankings. Bridget Sloan did Bridget Sloan things, Alicia Boren finally started to show she could be a potential replacement for Kytra Hunter and the rest of the team easily handed UCLA the loss. However, this all happened at home, and the Gators are on the road this week as they travel to Auburn to take on the Tigers who have been having quite the season themselves. After keeping it neck-and-neck with Alabama in the first half of the Elevate the Stage meet, the Tigers had a mini-beamplosion to hand the Tide the meet. Getting that event under control will be crucial if the team wants any chance against the Gators.
