2012 Olympian Brittany Rogers is a former Georgia Gymdog who capped off her incredible NCAA career with a national title on the uneven bars at the 2016 NCAA National Championships last April. Maegan Chant has signed her National Letter of Intent to compete for Florida this fall. Similarly, Madison Copiak will join the Washington GymDawgs, Sabrina Gill will compete for the Oregon State Beavers after deferring a year to vy for Rio, Victoria Kayen-Woo will attend Ohio State and Kirsten Peterman will join the Maryland gymnastics team. All will start their NCAA gymnastics careers in the 2016-2017 season. Additionally, Megan Roberts has verbally committed to Georgia and will enter in the fall of 2018.
After the first day of competition, Ellie Black leads the field with an all-around score of 57.400, despite counting a fall on the balance beam. She is followed by Brittany Rogers (56.467) and Megan Roberts (54.717). Current national champion Isabela Onyshko sits in last as she has had to count a zero on her vault. Gym Canada is streaming the competition live and for free while also providing live results.
